Red Mandarin (Citrus Nobilis Peel Oil)

Native to Asia, the humble Mandarin is one of only four ancestors of most other citrus varieties, out of the four parental ancestors, it is the only fruit which is sweet to the taste and therefore all the more important. Used in traditional Chinese medicine for it’s part in regulation of ch’I, believed to be essential to maintaining health and achieving a long life. Mandarin oil helps to rejuvenate the skin as it is thought to improve the circulation of blood and lymph, particularly below the skin. The oil is also said to promote the growth of new cells and tissues, reviving the skin.
